Ariana liked the outside. It was pretty, especially in the early mornings like today. Ariana had woken up way to early for her liking but she had been dead tired the night before and had gone to bed at like 11. Something she normally didn’t do. Normally she wouldn’t wake up till like 11 or 12 especially since it was a Saturday. Normally it was once Ariana opened her eyes she couldn’t get back to sleep. It was just impossible. It was only like 7 in the morning and she was completely awake. She had tried going back to sleep and that had lasted for about 5 minutes before she had thrown off her covers and sat up in bed looking around the room. It was a mess really. Just like it was the night before. Her father had got on her about cleaning her room and she had left it the way it was. A lot of people seemed to think that you couldn’t find anything in her room. And if anyone else looked in her room it was true they would be able to find nothing. She remembered she had asked her brother to grab a sweater for her, but it had taken him a half an hour just to find one, as it had been littered down behind her chair under a pile of books and things. She didn’t even know how half the stuff got in the places that it did actually.
On the other hand though if Ariana went and tried to find it she would be able to pull it out in a matter of seconds, when if it was all clean and tidy it was actually harder for her to find things. The only thing that remained clean was the area at the side of her room that was where she did her homework, where her desk was and her lab top sat on it along with many books around it from the homework that she had started the night before. Ariana was a bit of a nerd. She liked doing her homework, and she liked getting good grades but it wasn’t like it controlled her life. She just more had certain goals she wanted to achieve and she needed good marks to achieve them. Sighing quietly she ran her fingers through her now slightly messed up hair from the way she had slept and swung her legs over the bed and stood up. She hated waking up, she always felt so sloppy. Rubbing at her eyes she could tell that nobody else was up well not yet anyways. She bet just after she finished getting ready she would hear the baby crying leading the everyone waking up, well possibly but her step mother and her father seemed pretty tired lately.
Moving into the bathroom she turned on the shower letting it turn into the hot water as she draped a towel over the counter and closed the door stripping out of her clothing and jumping in the shower the hot water waking her up slightly. Rinsing her hair she quickly moved to wash herself and then her hair before turning off the hot water and grabbing her towel wrapping it around her and looked at herself in the mirror. She didn’t like the look of herself without make up, she looked, odd. She was so used to seeing herself with make up on that when she saw herself without it on it was like looking like a completely different person, an ugly person she found. Moving back into her room she searched through her drawers pulling out her usual clothing for the morning, a pair of skinny jeans and just a loose black top. She didn’t wear anything real fancy or anything when she knew she wasn’t going out at least not right away so she quickly got dressed and went to do her hair and make up.
It really didn’t take her long to do actually. Maybe about an half an hour, hour at the most just to both her make up and her hair. It isn’t really that bad considering some of the stories that you hear and how long it takes them to get ready. She still did have to wake up pretty early to get everything done. Looking around her room once again she grabbed a sweater and slipped it on along with a pair of slippers and moved down the hallway hearing the muffled cry of Sonny. Why they called him that she had no idea but he was really a cutie. But he did wake everyone up way to early. He liked attention and didn’t sleep in past 8. Mumbling to herself she went into his room quickly before they would wake up or wake up the other kids in the house and sighed ‘ shhh….everyone’s sleeping..its okay. Lets go get you something to eat’ she whispered quietly picking him up and kissing his forehead. When Ariana did have the chance she liked helping out her family, it was just her way of repaying them for actually taken her into this house. Because really they had any right to not let her live here.
Moving she went downstairs bouncing Sonny in her arms making him giggle quietly and she went over into the kitchen and opened the door finding some cheerios and some fruits cut up in small pieces so that he could chew them. Sonny was two so he could at people food but he tended to choke a lot, trying to eat to quickly so everyone had to watch him when he ate. Grabbing herself a bottle of water she went and opened the front door feeling the cool breeze. It wasn’t that cold out so the baby would be fine in what he was wearing and moved along the both sitting on the little swing like couch things that they had in the front of the house sitting Sonny in her lap giving him a few cheerios in his hand which he went to throw down onto the ground ‘ fine your fault if your hungry later’ she said to him and folding her legs up so that he was trapped where he was so that he wouldn’t fall forward swinging back and forth a little looking at the street ahead of her. She normally wouldn’t see someone walking around here at 8 in the morning unless it was the one lady that went walking at this time. And of course nobody came and visited her at this time. Sometimes she wished she did though. Leaning back she pulled the little boy closer to her and let her gaze continue to look at the street not exactly expecting anyone to just appear. It never happened when she needed company.

Where was he? Fluttering his eyelashes slightly to let his eyes adjust, Alex blinked. It was .... strangely white. And fluffy. Like he was on a cloud. Or something. But, wait a minute ... WAS he on a cloud? ... Freezing on the spot, you could almost see his brain whirring trying to figure out what was going on. For minutes he stood like this, barely moving, hardly breathing, until he finally rested upon a decision of what the hell was going on. "Am I dead?" His words came out with blank and hollow, ringing all the way around him. The next sound he heard made him jump. It was something soft, tinkling, like a wind chime moving in the warm summer's breeze. "No, silly." A veletine voice reached into his mind, echoing throughout the expanse of his skull. Which wasn't really much of an expanse at all. "You're just dreaming ... dreaming ... dreaming ..." Suddenly, everything around him began to whorl, the voice in his head becoming high-pitched and more frequent. Panic began to set in as everything slowly dulled down to muted grays and blues .... becoming unfocused ... blurry .....
With a shrill cry, Alex sat bolt upright in bed, only to cry out again as he toppled off of it and onto his (fortunately) carpeted bedroom in a tangle of sheets and blankets. Lying there for a minute, in some kind of a daze, he just lay there in only his boxers and his blankets, the muddle called his brain trying to figure out what had just happened. It took a minute or two before he clued in that his alarm had just gone off, and was still ringing above his head. Muttering a stream of profanity, he managed to untangle himself from his bedclothes and scramble to his feet, slamming a fist down on the button to turn the ruddy thing off. The silence that followed was almost deafening.
Making a face, he sighed quietly before shuffling over to his dresser, grabbing a clean pair of jeans, a plain white T-shirt, and his favourite black and white checkered hoodie. Running a hand through his hair and deciding that he didn't really need to shower, STILL NOT DONE. Sorry. x.x
